
SHOTOKAN KARATE
Shotokan Karate is a form of Karate that originated on the Japanese island of Okinawa. Its founder was Gichin Funakoshi (1868 - 1957). Shotokan Karate uses strong stances, powerful strikes and dynamic blocks which makes it an effective self defence martial art.

Prices
The first 2 classes are free so that you can get a taste of what we do. If you are happy after the 2 classes then we ask you to join. Fees are paid on a school term basis, so 6 weeks at a time.
Junior Price
£7 per class (6 week term = £42) )
A license will also need to be applied for, this is a yearly fee and is part of the clubs insurance.
Yearly License - £20
Training suits (GI) will also need to be purchased. Gi's are extremely tough and long lasting, prices vary depending on size.
